ANNE-HÉLÈNE GENNÉ, B.Sc., N.D.
Anne-Hélène was first intrigued by the world of herbal medicine in Benin (Africa), where she lived as a child. She later earned an Honours degree in biochemistry at the University of Ottawa. During the same time, she participated in research on tropical plants. She then chose to study naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto), the only accredited school of naturopathic medicine in Canada. In her practice, she uses the full spectrum of naturopathic tools (herbs, nutrition, hydrotherapy, counseling) with an emphasis on homeopathy, a medicine particularly useful in healing emotional traumas. She regularly attends advanced courses in classical homeopathy, keeping informed of the latest developments in this fascinating field. She is determined to promote naturopathic medicine in Quebec as part of a multidisciplinary health care model similar to what is already becoming a reality in other Canadian provinces such as Alberta, British-Columbia and Ontario. In her spare time, Anne-Hélène enjoys many other passions, and especially operatic singing, writing, and Italian culture.

NEW PATIENTS WHAT TO EXPECT
  • The first visit to Corpus Diem is a comprehensive assessment lasting approximately 2 hours. It allows for an in-depth understanding of your chief concerns, the challenges you face daily, your diet and lifestyle, your past history and your future aspirations, all of which are factors that influence the naturopathic approach. The information collected will help to produce a treatment plan tailored to your needs and capacities, to be implemented typically by the second visit.

  • Subsequent visits are generally scheduled 2-6 weeks apart depending on the case, except for hydrotherapy treatments which are scheduled once or twice a week.
